Season 1 - Episode 5: 116 Sorrows

Joseph Smith begins translating the golden plates, with the help of Martin Harris as his scribe.  Martin's wife grows increasingly suspicious that her husband is being duped.  She spreads rumors and fights Martin on his pursuits, while he investigates the authenticity of some of the Egyptian-looking characters found on the plates.  Things in the Harris family intensify, leading to Martin needing proof of God's involvement, in order to settle his wife's suspicions.  The result is anything, but happy.
