Season 1 - Episode 2: Gold, Silver & Poverty

After Alvin's death, the Smith family struggle to make payments, leading to Joseph Smith thinking of how to help provide for their family.  After initial tempations with gold plates, he hires on with a prospector digging for a silver mine in Pennsylvania.  What he discovers there is a beautiful, educated young lady who he admires, but her family does not admire him, due to rumors.
