Season 1 - Episode 4: Finding Harmony

Western New York is in an uproar after hearing Joseph Smith found gold plates.  Many try to get a view of them, but Joseph Smith and his family must protect them, while Joseph learns to translate them into the English language.  Martin and Lucy Harris volunteer to help, as things in the community intensify.  The chaos leads Joseph and his wife Emma to move to Harmony, Pennsylvania.
